Crdo Café: Ocean views, cream latte bliss, and must-try 108-layer bread—Jeju perfection!

Jeju Island always offers a sense of relaxation and healing, and this time, I visited “Crdo Café,” located in Hallim-eup, Jeju City. A friend who recently traveled to Jeju highly recommended this place, so I went with high expectations. Known for its croissants and drip coffee, I headed to “Crdo,” located at 497 Hallim-ro, looking forward to some delicious desserts and coffee.

First Impressions and Atmosphere

Crdo Café, located in Hallim-eup, offers a beautiful backdrop of Jeju’s stunning sea and nature. The exterior was clean and modern, and as soon as I stepped inside, I was greeted by a cozy atmosphere. The interior has a modern yet natural design, with wood-toned tables and chairs, and sunlight streaming in through large windows, creating a warm vibe. The outdoor terrace space is a perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee on a sunny day, with a breathtaking open view that gives off a truly relaxing feeling.

Menu: Crdo 108-Layer Bread, Apple Cinnamon, Crdo Cream Latte

I ordered the ‘Crdo 108-layer Bread,’ ‘Apple Cinnamon,’ and the ‘Crdo Cream Latte.’ Though the croissants are famous, I was curious about the unique 108-layer bread, so I decided to try it.

The Crdo 108-layer bread was crafted so meticulously that you could see the layers clearly. It was crispy on the outside, but chewy and soft on the inside, making for an exceptional texture. It felt more like a special dessert than just a loaf of bread. Though it would pair well with jam or butter, it was delicious on its own.

The Apple Cinnamon dessert had a lovely combination of sweet and tangy apple with fragrant cinnamon. The crunchy apple texture and aromatic cinnamon made it a great choice, even as a meal replacement. It’s a must-try for those who enjoy sweet treats.

The Crdo Cream Latte exceeded my expectations. The smooth cream and rich coffee blend created a perfect harmony in every sip. The creamy, nutty flavor was so satisfying that I felt it would brighten up anyone’s morning.

The price range for desserts is around 5,000 KRW, and coffee ranges from 4,500 to 6,000 KRW. Other Bloggers’ Pros and Cons

Based on other reviews I found, many people highlight the delicious desserts and stunning views as the café’s strengths. The croissants and other specialty breads from Crdo are especially popular. The open outdoor terrace with its beautiful view of Jeju’s nature makes it a beloved spot for many.

However, some bloggers mentioned the limited parking as a downside. I also found the parking area to be a bit tight when I visited. During weekends or peak tourist seasons, finding a spot could be challenging. Additionally, the café’s interior is not very spacious, so it could feel a bit cramped when crowded.

My Thoughts on the Café’s Strengths

Personally, I think the best part of this café is the open view from the outdoor terrace. Sipping coffee while soaking in Jeju’s natural beauty made for a very precious moment. The desserts were also fantastic, and I’d definitely love to visit again. The 108-layer bread was unique and so tasty that I can’t wait to have it again.

My Thoughts on the Café’s Weaknesses

The downside is the limited parking space. The café itself isn’t that big, so there’s not much parking available. The interior is also a bit small, which could make it feel cramped if it gets crowded. Still, if the weather’s nice, the outdoor terrace is a great alternative for a more comfortable experience.

3-line Summary

2. With delicious options like croissants, 108-layer bread, and Crdo Cream Latte, it’s a must-visit for dessert lovers.
